The guide has made hacking/unlocking Mio C230 possible and it has inspired other efforts for making Mio C230 a wonderful device to own.
In the first release, I did not tweak the desktop at all.The C520tb predictably adds Traffic management into the mix.As for the C320b (above), it matches the C520b except much of the multimedia functionality has been stripped out (contacts, photos and Bluetooth though MP3 playback remains) and traffic management isn’t an option.Amida’s Version 4 Unlock may indeed be easier to install (and Undo), but not having ever tried it, I will not attempt to compare the new version of my Unlock to his, other than to state that they each have their own pluses and minuses over the other, depending on your needs.I simply like this Unlock and appreciate that I too have a loyal group of users that have encouraged me to keep updating and sharing the results.Couple this with the company’s fabulous Mio Map 2008 software which includes 3D mapping and Garmin, Navman and Tom Tom may find themselves sleeping rather uncomfortably tonight.
